    C&R in-state shipment

    I looked and can't seem to find my answer. If a C&R/COE holder in southern California buys a C&R long gun from a dealer in Northern California via an online method like Gunbroker, does the gun need to be somehow DROS'd before shipment, shipped to a FFL01, or can it go straight to the FFL03?

    If the dealer in Northern California is a "California licensed dealer" then he needs to DROS the gun to the buyer in person.

      So in other words, if the 03/COE holder is not there in person the gun would need to be shipped to an 01 in SOCAL in order to be DROS"d?

            and you still gotta wait for and register a 100 year old handgun...

            Better off just driving to effing oregon or arizona

              I drove all the way to Florida and bought 2-shotguns, 2-rifles and 1-revolver.
              All entered in my log book.
              Just need to send the $19 check and registration to CA DOJ.
              Silly, really. Stick a modern 32 round in the pistol and it will probably explode.
              Oh, well.....excuse me while I go write the check and fill out the form.

              By the way, the money I spent for them there guns, stayed in Florida.
