    Mosin Nagant Club

    Thanks Calguns Community,

I purchased my first Mosin Nagant. Actually, first I found some Yugo ammo that I could shoot, and then I bought a Mosin Nagant. Actually, I paid 100$ to be allowed to fill out an application, to be allowed to have a Mosin Nagant in 10 days.....

Either way, this has been one of my happiest purchases in a long while. Got a 1942 Tula with the normal accessories. Beautiful gun. Woods in good condition, lots o' cosmoline, clean metal, and it smells like WWII.

Can't wait to shoot it for the first time. It's been about 15 years since I've shot a rifle. And I think the last one was a .22.

Hopefully there are some group events for C&R's soon. Interested in shooting with y'all.

Nice! Where are you located? I'm sure a C&R shoot could be arranged with members near you.

I just got my first one. Definitely not the last. I have yet to clean mine though. Might tackle it tomorrow. Gonna go the mineral spirit soak route.

Where did you get your Mosin? It's always good to hear where folks got good examples!

This suggests you're at least 66 years old.
