        Since their cover was blown on Fast and Furious and little Eric can't sell AR15s to the drug cartels, the cartels are buying surplus M1's from Korea

          Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

              Well, if there is ever a time to get it done, meeting with the president in person would be the time to do it. Sadly, I think they will be talking about bigger deals first.

                    Who knows how much of this is even on their radar. I would love to find out this situation has been worked out in this current trade agreement. As far as the next president goes, I think someone who likes guns is going to be 5 years out at soonest.

                        Interesting idea except that we haven't signed it ourselves, and our govt. would have a hell of a fight on their hands if they tried. Plus having South Korea as an ally on a nonsensical piece of UN legislation isn't exactly earth shaking.

                          Wont happen. IIRC the legislatures already told the UN to go to heck with their gun laws.

                              FWIW , one probable scenerio:
                              No private enterprise USGI gun imports from Asia until after the voters clean out the White House and the Senate next year. Except , of course , for the standard token amounts of mostly used-up rusted out junk with Century Arms International marks coming through Guatemala . With ATFE & State Department blessing .

                              So expect stupidly high prices to last another year or so and then crash.
                              That's my bet.
