CZ-82 Magazines

The CZ-82 comes with 12 round magazines which are not California legal. I know that there are 9 round magazines available that will function with the CZ-82.

Does anyone know what model the 9 round magazines were made for?

Sure do, it's for the CZ-83. Get the one for the .380ACP model. Alsi might want to look at J&G Sales if you're looking to buy one, they have a CA package with comes with a replacement mag instead of the 12-rounder.

The .380 magazine holds 10 rounds of .380. I assume that it works with 9mm Makarov and will only hold 9 round of that cartridge.

I'm going down to Arizona for Thansgiving and plan to stop at J&G on the way.

I bought Cz83 magsfrom Midway. If you have a C&R license make sure you get the dealer's discount. I think I saved $9+ or so by doing that.
