    Where to get bayonets?

At some point in the future, I'd like to get bayonets for my old milsurp rifles, specifically an M1 Carbine, a 1903A1 and a Garand(which I'll eventually get.)

Where are good places to look for them other than gun shows? Are they legal to import into CA or is that another thing that we are getting boned on?

I know that Sportsman Guide usually has stuff like that, but it seems they aren't sending anything other than camo underpants to this state anymore.

    Thanks!

    internets!

nothing wrong with cutlery, just don't go to a post office or albertsons with one.

I got my bayonets through friends in reenacting groups. I suggest you dig around the california historical group for WW2 website(www.chgww2.com). If there's a good deal on the net, they will find it.

Shotgun news has a lot of stuff along those lines. Try them. Ebay too. I got some Swiss bayonets, Yugos, Spanish, and American ones through Ebay.

If you are ever in the Roseville area there is a store in downtown Roseville called "Tin Soldier", lots of cool military stuff, mostly WWII. Decent selection of bayonets. I can't recall how competetive the pricing is but it's not ridiculous.

Do the M1 Garand and 1903 Springfield use the same bayonet, by chance?

                    Well....

Remember when you were little and you couldn't wait to make a Toys-R-Us Store run...

Well, I will recommend their big brother store "BAYONETS-R-US"!

Same rush, same got to have feeling, same feeling of disappointment leaving with just a 10 cent superball.

                    GOOD LUCK!

I got both a 10" for my M1 Garand and a 16" for my 1903A3 on e-bay. Might take a look there, but the prices are getting out of hand now.

I'm watching some auctions now but the prices are pretty high. Looks like I got into the C&R game about a year too late
