    old pistol question...

    I just got a new pistol, paid $80 and i do not know much about it. Hoping that some of you guys could help me out. All i really know is its an iver johnson's arms and cycle co. made in pitssburg mass, usa its a .32sw. is this gun of any value? It has pattents on the bottom: setp 10, 96 Aug 25, 96 and a coupole others.

    They're inexpensive and medium quality - often not real accurate, and good to have checked out by a 'smith before firing. Ammo's available, but not cheap.

        Remember that it still is a firearm so you have to be careful about it being available to minores, etc. Since it is a cheap gun you might want to make it inoperable before hanging on the wall.
