Thats what I was describing. Try a trigger, then grips.... epoxy away. I'd keep your original grips untouched. But thats me.

Roger that GL. I am ordering a new trigger. I hope that fixes it. I would rather not bubba it. The safety does a pretty good job of that. Thanks again to you all.

Replacing the trigger and trigger return spring (buymilsurp.com) seems to have fixed this problem. 200 consecutive dry fires and the hammer dropped every time. I compared the old and new parts side by side and the looked IDENTICAL. Have no idea what changed except now it seems to function reliably.
