is there such a thing or is it that big of a deal? I love to go shoot my mas 49/56 but the problem is it shoots about 6 inches to the right even with the sights adjusted as far as possible to correct it. someone said it may be a bent barrel... is there even a way to fix that? and I've tried to find a new barrel to try and restore it to the original 7.5 french but no dice as I have found thus far. my c&r needs help!! thanks all

I am guessing this is one that was converted to .308? I heard the conversations where not exactly done "well." I have heard of a guy in PA who specializes in those.. though his name is escaping me at the moment. I am sure someone will come along with the right info.
does sound like a bent barrel though. how far are you shooting?WTB:Old Video Games! Nintendo, Sega, Atari, etc consoles and games.
WTS: Several Neat and uncommon Mosins, Russian SKS, Oddball Mausers. PM for details

I only shoot really out to 100m. But when I go to lytle creek I shoot the 300m steel plate. I guess I just got used to how the rifle shoots. However that doesn't stop me from wanting the old gal to get fixed. And yes it's a century converted one.Comment
