    C&R application, citizenship question?

I apologize if this question has been asked several times already, but I couldn't find it in the stickied thread.

And maybe the answer is simpler than I'm making it, but it's late any my brain turned off 4 hours ago.

On question #10, it talks about Nonimmigrant Alien Certification, etc, etc. OK no problem I'm a US citizen born in Chicago..

So..do I just leave 10a. blank where it ask for Name of Person Certifying Compliance? That part is just for aliens to fill out right? OK, what about the second 2-page form you're supposed to submit to the ATF? "You MUST complete this certification or ATF will NOT be able to act upon your application..." Under 1 and 2, I just put my name since I'm only speaking for myself. And 3 I put USA as my country of citizenship.

    I'm done now right?

You can leave #10 blank, I did and still got my license. On #10 it states, "All nonimmigrant aliens listed in item 9 must complete the following information certifying compliance with 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(5)(B)." So I read it as leave blank if your a citizen.

As for the 2-page form, I think your asking about the Certification of Compliance form? It's only needed for anyother people listed in #9 as #10 only has room for 1 person.

You have to complete the second form (ATF Form 5330-20). It is the certificate of compliance that you are a US citizen and you are the person certifying your own citizenship.

I never did it, and still got my license. Hmm, maybe the ATF was nice enough to fill it out for me ? LOL, yeah like that would happen.
