Similar story to mine, just got my C&R package on Monday, made copies and placed an order for a M44 from AIM that same night (since they're sold out on 91/30's and now i'm just waiting until they get more to order one) And I just got the shipping confirmation today so yeah, this C&R is going to send me into the poor house if I don't control myself...I got to tell myself to stop researching the M1 Garand from CMP, must resist...hahahahha

Good luck with the M1 Garand, I checked CMP the other day and all their service grades are sold out. I got lucky getting mine before the boat sank and am about to shoot that tomorrow. Congrats on the C&R license, i used that to buy my garand from the CMP

It showed up today! Looks pretty good, been cleaning it for a couple hours now. Bore looks pretty shiny with good rifling. Hopefully will get to the range this weekend to test her out. Couple pics fresh out of the box.

Mine showed up last night also and it looks like your M44's evil twin brother. Overall mine looks good with all matching numbers and lots of cosmoline everywhere Right now, I'm trying to sweat out the cosmoline in this heat and will give it a thorough cleaning this weekend.
