Thanks Froman and GDM am aware these are around but commercial hunting loads are too pricey for practice/target work.

Kwansao, believe you are talking about the Statewide ban on shipping handgun ammo which indeed was struck down in court but might be appealed by the State (not sure if they are doing so). Anyway, was talking about Sacramento City ordinance which most online stores feel bans the shipment of ammo to zip codes in this fine city. Apparently that is an incorrect interpretation but only a couple of stores seem to realize it. The big ons like cheaperthandirt, ammoman, and midway won't ship here and don't want to take the risk of misinterpreting the tru meaning of the ordinance.

Might try and see if CMP will, anyone know for sure?

        Too Late

Just checked and the CMP site says they're sold out on all Garand service grades, including the H&R and Springfield. They do show the $895 specials as available.
