Depends on what your interest are and how much $$$$ you have to spend.

a lot of guys start with the mosin's but if you can spend a little more, go with a mauser or Lee Enfield.

It is up to you to decide what type firearms interest you and how much you can afford...... Mosins are low priced.....at least most are and are available from many sources. But, perhaps your interests lay elsewhere. Just because your C&R has arrived, there is no need to rush to buy something. Decide what you really want and if you need to, take the time to save up the money to buy it.
