looks interesting, how does it mount to the receiver/barrel?

i wonder if you could pull off stripper clip useage/straight bolt useage with a POSP rail for the mosin from Kalinka and a SVD scope.

i recently put an AK POSP on my SKS with a side mount from Kalinka and was surprised and happy to see that it clears strippers just enough to keep them useable by off setting the scope to the left, i solved the cheek weld problem with a tapco stock and a cheek riser.

this was with my original wood stock.

any ideas what the price will be on these mounts? i'm still exploring my options for scoping my mosin

for kicks i just held my AK POSP up to the side of my 91/30. stippers will be a no go for sure but the bolt looks like it will clear even once the scope is a bit closer to the action as the mounts require insetting the stock. the main reason the bolt clears is because the AK scope sits so high and that i think might be an issue.

the using you left eye idea might make up for that. i also tried that on my sks just now without the cheek riser and it works good on it. i never thought about using my left eye i'll have to give that a try next weekend

good stuff, neat design with the band and tighten down method.

i think might get one of these soon for my mosin
