They are rare and mainly in museums (Museo del Ejercito Mexicano in Mexico, DF has one; Aberdeen Arsenal in MD has one). Some in really advanced collections. And the selective fire ones are mainly overseas, for obvious reasons.Comment

It looks like Mexico had a contract with the Swiss to produce these rifles. Then the Mexican Revolution occurred and that contract was forgotten.

there was one on gunbroker a year or so ago for like 3 grand, well worth it if you ask me, for such a rare piece. mexican contract, swiss-made, german-used in the Great War, mostly by airplane crews to shoot at enemy planes, if you can believe that. the germans made special drum magazines for them, awesome! if you find one, sell your car, your pets, perhaps even a child if you have a spare and get it!Comment
