    Update on our C+Rs

Previously on our C+R guns. IMG]http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/paulruggeri/Picture.jpg[/IMG]

The following guns were purchased between 6-5-11 and 7-14-11.

The top gun is a Mosin Nagant M44. Its a Hungarian rifle made in 1953 in Budapest. #8373, nonmatching #s. The blueing is mostly gone and the varnish chipping off, but its solid, no
    rust or corrosion.
Next is a Carcano M38. 7.35 Cal. I believe its a 1940. The receiver is marked 40-XVIII, FNA Brescia, XB1425 and crossed rifles. Says Rocca on the bolt. There's a faint round cartouche on the stock, about the size of a 1/2 dollar. came with a box of ammo, but no chargers to load it.
Third ia a Steyr M95. Its from the Budapest amory #1396. It kind of looks like a Russian capture. The numbers aren't matching, but there is an electropencil number on the bolt and a stamped number on the stock on the opposite side as the original number. There is no date on it either. It came with 200 rounds of ammo. Some have a small lion standing on its hind legs and dated 1941. the rest have a Nazi stamp and are dated 1938. All are in chargers.
Finally is a Lugar. Dated 1938. It says S/42 on top of the receiver. #506 with 06 stamped on in several places. There are some small rust spots, but its generally pretty nice.

You are doing well with your C&Rs! I think I like the M44 the best, but I'm biased.

Yeah, this place is a drain on the checking account.
