Time between ffl fee and recieving license?

Whats the usual time between the fee coming out and when u recieve your license? i know its differant for everybody but im getting excited. ha

My fee came out right away, didn't get the license for about 3 weeks, but this was over a year ago.

Hell, they charged my card right away. It's been about 75 days... haven't heard anything on my FFL07. I did talk to BATFE two weeks ago and they said my application had been forwarded to the local field office. I'm impaitiently waiting.

took them almost a month to take the funds out....been almost 10 days since

me it took 4 days to take my money and 11 weeks or so no papers in the mail yet.good luck to you though.

Mine was 24 days from the night I mailed till I got the licence, charged my card 4 days after mailing.

My fee came out right away, didn't get my license for 12 weeks.

The reason, I think, is that I have had many change of addresses over the past 7 years as a travel nurse. Also had a clearance in the military so I'm sure they wanted to check everything out.

But then again, maybe someone didn't have enough coffee one day.

my fee came out with in 3 days of mailing it....that was over 2 months ago....

fees were deducted within days of mailing. i actually went so far as to call to check on the status of mine last week as it had been about 70 days or so. i was told it takes "60-90 days" and that my application had "only been received 4/12..." like that was very recently. so, i guess i get to wait another month and hope i finally get a nice surprise in the mail when i return home from my vacation.

Mine took about a month after i mailed it. I used money order.

nice. called on the 16th or so - and guess what showed up in the mail on the 25th? it's here!

nothing yet... how do you go about checking??

I renewed and still have not got my paper. They sent a letter extending my license. They said it is taking time for the background check.
