FN 1949 Value help?

Hey group, my brother's friend is wondering about value range of a FN 1949 in 30-06. An aprox value range, or other identifying points would help.

Luxembourg version - Those will fetch plenty - Last few I saw in Gunbroker was in the 1k to 1300 range -

I remember when those were $300! Without seeing the condition I would say minimum 650 up to 1000 +. Check out Gunbroker.

The 30-06 is one if the more rare variants. Yeah, about $1200, depending on condition, of course.

Difficult to judge without photos. To get top dollar it should be all matching and as issued. Any refinishing will drastically alter it's value. Then it's all about condition.

In addition to the Luxembourg model there are also Colombian 30-06 guns sometimes available here in the US. They however are much more scarce, and usually in much poorer condition than the Luxembourg FN's. Even scarcer are the Belgian or Indonesian 30-06 rifles. I have only seen two Belgian and two Indonesian rifles in 30 years.
