That's pretty cool. Love the hand engraved serial number.

I have a perfect Burning Man attendance record: zero.

Hey very nice Chicocm! 1st model, what a find!, iron frame, 1875 or so production, is it 44-40? How 'bout some more shots, maybe full length, and closeups of the sight, and buttstocks, and?

Just want to share the '73 love here, last month I picked up a 3rd model in .32-20. Had a cycling problem that was remedied in about 10 seconds. Bought from Jay's Guns in Fla, one of the best I've ever dealt with over the phone,

I'm not set up for pics, and haven't tried attaching photos or pics here yet, however I'll try to attach the seller's pic (oops, can't, I see the file's too large), or at least the location, let's try this .......

          Thanks all.
I have more pics on a flash drive somewhere...
I inherited it from my Grandfather years ago. My Grandmother bought it from the original owner for my Grandfather's birthday back in 1941, I think.
And yes, it's a 44-40. I am told that if the brass lifter is not stamped, it's always 44-40.
