Win/Ord Problems with Production

Gentlemen,
Many of you new guys think I am after Winchester and the M1 Garand Project. Guys it's not me writting these Orders, it's Ordnance. I can't post all the files I have on what Winchester was doing that's what my books are for. Here is another file dealing with the bidding for the M1 Garand Rifle. The files below start to tell us the story but the whole story is to big to post.

Without input from you guys no one learns anything Try to put in some info/question and we can learn more of the M1's History. Your input is very important to all of us. Guys read the files if you have the time and post what you think was going on.

You know if the government asked for that same type of work today there would be screaming about the inhumanity of forcing workers to work nightshifts and a 56 hour workweek.
People forget about what it took for even civilian workers during WW-II.

wonder what kinda pay scale they had? 8hrs of OT, 1.5x on Sat, 2x on Sun?

no Frank, it'll get subcontracted to multi-tier suppliers and the tax payer will get reamed.
