C&R Renewal ?

I got my C&R several years ago.
How often do you have to renew ?
I thought I let it go a year or so ago but I came across it a few days ago and it says expires 2009.
So what do think ?

It is good for 3 years. COE must be renewed every year.

They are only good for 3 years. Your's doesn't expire for at least 16 months.

See what happens when you get one. You spend SO much money on C&Rs that you'd swear you had it for a life time

Or you renewed it last year in your sleep. Sleep renewing is a pretty common syndrome among Type 03 FFL's.

Are you sure it's a copy of your FFL and not one you got from somebody you sold a C&R firearm to.

I guess it is just old age setting in.
I just looked at it again and it says 05

If your 03FFL has expired, you can burn all your old records and apply for a new one.

once the licence is no longer valid, there is no requirement to keep records. its not like an 01 FFL

THey dont sent you some automailer stating your 03 is about to expire
Guess I better keep on top of it then
