    Question on this rifle?

Does anyone know any info about this particular rifle. It's marked Springfield Armory 1903. Is this a sporter version of the military 1903? I'm not sure why there is no rear sight on this rifle. Does anyone know the value of this rifle?

    Thanks in advance.
