I'm planning on getting my COE to go along with my 03FFL. My question is if I've already been Live Scanned due to my job (Registered Nurse) do I have to do it again for the COE ?

Yes you do. Live scan does not keep a re usable log or a history that can be accessed by agencies so that lets say within a 30 day period they can just access your last scan. I have been scanned three times in one day because different state agencies wanted a report. -
yes I agree with @pd5190 you need to do it again ,I asked for do live scan many times ,I did it at San Diego Live Scan Certifix ,so I think you should go to one of the live scan agencies to do live scan.Comment

Let's see, Live Scanned for COE, two weeks later, had to pay Sheriff Department for another Live Scan for my CCW. Typical California waste and stupidity, it's too much to expect a central DB that all LEAs and the ATF could draw from.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer

PSST... The OP that NECRO'd this thread is advertising his livescan business. Go look at his 3 posts and see what they might have in common.NRA Life Member
