sent off my 03ffl address change today..

.. lets see how long it actually takes to be processed and a new ffl issued.
i did it via fax, using the amended form & a copy of my ffl,i hope it does not take to long as this will be a easy proof of residence as i am moving in 14 days.

i sent off my coe address change with renewal on the 6th via snail-mail and as of now the check has not been cashed...

i guess it will be a little while until my next gun purchase..

I changed my 03 address recently too... the waiting did suck- but fortunately (IIRC) it only took about a month.

Good luck on the wait- because you are going to see countless things you want!

others have been asking to,i did recommend before that a basic letter was all that is needed but have since decided to use the 5300 form from the atf via fax.

the atf agents i dealt with said i do not need to send a copy of lease as i am only a private collector doing no business on the property.so take that for what's worth and we will see when i get my new ffl

I had to call about 15 times to get mine processed. Mailed 2x, faxed 4 times, left 14 voicemails without returned calls and finally go to a supervisor on the 15 th attempt. It was mailed the next day. Apparently the gal that does the address changes just stacks them on her desk and everyone else is afraid to dig for them. I highly suggest you start calling immediately after faxing it in.

                I waited 74 days.

I mailed mine BTW. I wasn't aware you could fax them in... And had I known you could fax it- I still would have mailed it. Faxing things sucks & the phone tag it sounds like some of you have been doing sounds like a pain... Snail mail FTW!

Wow, maybe my final complaint hit home! This all began in December but when I finally got a manager he found 4 copies of my address change in the pile that had not been processed. It sounded like the address changes were being shuffled to the bottom. Glad to see it has been addressed.
