Request for info on 1894 Winchester

Greetings,
My buddy has this 1894 Winchester that came from his great grandfather. If I am doing my research correct, I believe that it may be a circa 1900-1905 model chambered in .32 WCF.

The barrell is round and has an OAL of 20". The butt stock has a steel plate and is a cresent shape as opposed to straight. The receiver has an attached saddle ring. The serial number is either LL03xx or 1103xx.

If anyone can please confirm my suspicion, offer information, correction, and worth, I would appreciate it.

All of the online serial number to date charts say that 1103xx is from 1897.

1901, 33,126 made that year. Polishing Room records are available.
Is the barrel stamped "32 W.S." or "32 WIN. SPL." ?

I think you missed a digit. I didn't look up this SN but, I have a 6 digit '94 made in 1899. I think the OP is correct on dating it. The exact year of production should be easy enough to look up.

I just did from the Cody records, "if" that's the correct serial number.
If it is, it's a good example of the problems the Madis info has caused. His info dates it as an "Antique", the accurate info just turned it into a C&R.
CSA, give the serial on yours, and I can tell you when it left the polishing room, how many were made that year, and if there's a Cody letter available.
