First off, Knifemaker didn't give you any sarcasm. He gave a short and almost rude answer. however...
the complete lack of internet etiquette wasn't necessary either.
Look at this way: if you were to post this on some other gun board (like arfcom), you'd been flamed out of exsistence. Not only that, but they wouldn't even answer your question.
you took the time to make the text in your original post a nice, spiffy, and non-default. but you didn't even make the effort to type "curio & relic" into google. I don't know, but it seems to me that the response you recieved was appropriate.
Don't take this to mean that we don't want you to ask questions. We love questions. This forum board wouldn't be where it is if it weren't for people asking questions. But please make an attempt to answer your own questions first. But if you don't feel like doing that, don't complain if you get snappy responses...
Now, if you would like more information about Curio & Relics, go here: http://www.surplusrifle.com/shooting...fl03/index.asp
It has just about everything you need to get a C&R license, explains what the requirements are, and explains what you can and can't do with your license.Originally posted by Kestryllwe can not nor should not dismiss or discount my theory that in the dark of night you molest sea anemones by candlelight.Originally posted by TKMShow me on this 1st Amendment bobble-head doll where the mods touched you.Originally posted by Click BoomIt is clear from this thread that citadel grad was the gunman, and Oswald his patsy.Comment

My response was not sarcastic or very rude, it was not dripping with honey but you guys have some pretty thin skin for this or any internet forum. I could of been very rude or very sarcastic, I thought it was to the point.

In CA, long guns at least 50 years old.
With a license, you can purchase long guns interstate and have them shipped to your license address. With or without a license, you can transfer long guns at least 50 years old within the state.
With a license, you can purchase C&R pistols out of state and bring them into CA yourself. You send a form to the DOJ to report the purchase once you're back in CA.
The 'plonk' comment was unwarranted.
The answer to your question has been posted countless times here on calguns in the last few years; you just happened to be the next fng in line to ask it for the billionth time
Glad I could answer it for you, and thanks for your post.
Sarcasm is usually indicated by a trailing smilie, like

. It's beyond me how you could take Knifemaker's post as sarcastic. Put on your Nomex.
I'd suggest the C&R FAQ page on the ATF's website as 15-20 minutes of time well spent, but i'd hate to be thought of as sarcastic.
