    Got cosmo?

I was told it was covered in cosmoline. I didn't think it would be like this:

I think I'll save it to use as a torch when zombies attack.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Ahh, you received your rifle from the CMP! Congratulations! Let the fun begin...

That is some bodacious cosmoline coverage right there.

Get a Scunci steamer and steam it out.

Oh wow that pic looks familiar. I posted right above you on the CMP forum. Just got my magna picked garand yesterday.
Thats a crazy amount of cosmo. Mine is pretty damn sticky but not like that at all lol.

Who's down for a cosmo cleaning party?

I'm sure I will. It's interesting how you can see the stock was in one pile, and the action and it's wood was in another. They definitely were not one rifle when it arrived in the crate.

Have a big tub in your backyard? I suppose that would be a little hillbilly-ish. But I'm down. haha

Haha I wish. I was hoping someone else could supply the tub.
