C&R pistol?

Would a pistol fall under C&R if it is manufactured around 1941? If I am to buy it PTP do I need to dros it? I am not a C&R holder BTW.

In your case, it has to go through a 01 Dealer and must be DROS'd regardless of age or C&R status.

The pistol would be C&R, but CA law still requires it to go through a 01 Dealer and be DROS'd

All Handguns are treated the same in California regardless of age or C&R status unless you have a C&R license.

this is solved by going out of state...and ignoring the FUD blowing in the wind,,,,Just don't make a practice of it. And regerit for 20 bucks with cadoj. I buy one gun every 10 years...do u need more?

To clarify a little.
Actually, you need a COE and a C&R to be treated any differently IN CA.
And all that gets you is a removal of the 10 day wait.

Even if you have a C&R, you have to go thru the 01 FFL.

Things get a little easier only when the C&R holder is outside of CA.

That's not a C&R. That's considered an Antique.
