    Mosin nagant help

I recently took my rifle apart to clean it after a day at the range...

At one point a small pin came out of somewhere and now my trigger is loose. any ideas as to what it is and how to fix it?

    thanks

Did you try taking it back apart and looking at the trigger area? There is a pin that the trigger pivots on, it falls out easily when the action is out of the stock.

Here's a photo I found on google images... you won't have the spring shown in the photo, but at least you can see the pin and where it goes:

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Yes, I've almost lost it too. I think it happens to everyone.
