    CMP Garands

I'm looking over the order form but in the checklist it doesnt say weather or not to have it notorized yet there is a spot for it. Can someone chime in before I send it off in an hour?
    Thanks

Get it notarized. I got mine done at a local UPS store. Only cost $10 I believe.

      Good luck on your order!

          Review the checklist again.

When it mentions Page 2A (Certification), it says it may not be required. But that's if you've already got a notarized form on file. You'll see the sentence in parenthesis that states repeat customers check paragraph 6 on ordering instructions.

Paragraph 6 says you only need to notarize every 3 years AFTER you have a notarized form on hand. This is their way of trying to cut down on the number of times you have to hit up the notary (and pay).

If you work in an office, see if there is a notary in the office (many do - especially legal departments). They often will notarize for free as regular notaries charge to offset the costs of keeping up their commission (and to make $$$) but often corporate notaries don't charge.

Good luck and DON'T FORGET PICTURES

            Yeah, it must be notarized.
Also, make sure the notary uses the Jurat form and give it to you to put in the packet.
California has stricter notary requirements than many places (go figure).
