k31 Muzzle Brake Recall

This is three years old now, but just in case you still have one of the 1st Generation Muzzle Brakes.... it's the two screw type and does not have a full collar behind the front sight, you are encouraged to return it to us and we'll replace it free of charge with the current Muzzle Brake. We'll also cover the shipping.

The First Generation Brakes work great if the bottom rear of your front sight still has a relatively sharp edge. If there is any appreciable wear in this area the Brake tang will not grip correctly and will fail. The New Generation has a locking collar.

the k31's kick is not so bad, i'm surprised they even have these.

they should make good ones for the small carbines, like the m44 and the French 1916

If you speak to those who have them they'll tell you its the difference between sending 75 round downrange and leave rubbing your shoulder and sending 150 rounds downrange and leaving with a smile. Most effective one out there, bar none. Our biggest groups to buy them in Europe are in Switzerland and Germany. Brownells sells easily 50 a month and Graf & Sons even more.

I should add that I definitely do not want to make this some kind of a sales pitch thread. We don't sell direct to the public at all... ever. This is a last attempt to get any of the old version still out there back to us.

There will always be people who will bash products instead of appreciating it. It might not be for them but I works for others.
