    VZ-52 experience

Almost bought a VZ-52 but the price of ammo would have really dented the funds. It is on sale at Four Seasons Outfitters in San Luis Obispo for $250.

When I picking up the rifle and looking at the bolt I could easily recognize the similarities between it and the VZ-58. I was very impressed with the weight and how the bayonet closed into the rifle. Too bad it is chambered in a hard to find cartridge.

I believe there's an insert available so you can shoot x39 out of it. That x45 stuff can be found, but it's not cheap.

Yeah, the ammunition price was the primary factor which dissuaded me from purchasing the rifle.
