    Help Identifying Guns

Hi everyone, I inherited a gun collection and need a little help identifying some of the older more unique guns. Anyone have any guesses what these are?

I'll give the first two a try:

I think that the first is a Smith and Wesson No. 1 Third Issue. Note that someone has messed with the front sight.

I think that the second pistol is a Stevens Diamond No. 43, First or Second Issue.

Those two little tiny pistols are pretty common though I don't remember who made them. Probably European made.

I'll let someone else jump in here, Geologyjohn

Thanks geologyjohn! Right on the first two (after some internet searching). Can anyone help on the others?

The two little ones look like gas cartridge guns, possibly German.

          Oh wait... wrong forum. Sorry.

I just love old guns like these - valuable or not - collectible or not - they are just so cool!

The flintlock looks Indian/Eastern and not European.
Next to me in the blackness lay my oiled blue steel beauty. The greatest Christmas gift I had ever received, or would ever receive. Gradually, I drifted off to sleep, pringing ducks on the wing and getting off spectacular hip shots.

Thanks mls343, if I remember right that was what my uncle told me. They were his. Any idea how to narrow down a search to a brand or type? I dont know anything about these types of guns.

I have a similar pistol from 1863 I believe. Made by Merwin and Bray. I still cant figure out how or what kind of ammo it uses. There are little nipples on the inside of cylinder that look like you fit a primer on them.
They are usually refered to as tit fire (s******) or cup primed.
They seem to sell around 300 to 400 dollars. After I cleaned mine up, it actually looks pretty nice. Action is tight too. I'd like to fire it someday.
