    Baker Rifle

    I am a big history buff, specifically the war of 1812 and Napoleonic period (recently found out that an accestor was at Waterloo with the Black Watch) and I was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to find a functioning Baker Rifle (from the 95th Rifles fame - Battle of New Orleans and Penninsula war) I don't need an original, in fact, I would prefer a reproduction, but I would like to be able to fire it, and take it for some black powder hunting.

    I had a lead on some that had been used for the movie "The Alamo" (as Santa Ana outfitted his light Infantry with Baker's) but that kinda fell through, so I figured I would see if anyone on Calguns.net could point me in the right direction.

      I think that The Rifle Shoppe might assemble a rifle also. Here is their info;
