    1903a3 value

Found an original rem 1903a3 barreled action. Everything including bottom metal is there, just missing one screw. Looks carbine length. Bore and action are nice and tight.

What would be a good price for this? Thanks in advance
WTB: Marlin 989 M2 stock (uncracked), and 989 M2 rifles
    Thanks

If the barrel has been shortened (less than 24") I wouldn't be interested. The bolt is worth around $50 and the trigger guard is worth around $20.
    Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Standard barrel is 24 inch? I thought they were longer. I believe it is 24 inches.

Edit: so if its uncut, would $100 be over paying?

Standard was 24", IIRC. Does it still have the front sight?

Front and rear sights are there, trigger is crisp for not seen oil in the last decade.

The reason this peaked mt interest is because its a remington and not a springfield.

If the barrel hasn't been cut and the receiver hasn't been drilled and tapped, and it isn't a former drill rifle with welding around the magazine cutoff or receiver/barrel, I would definitely get it for $100. Add a stock, handguard, buttplate, and bands and you'll have a nice rifle.

I think a majority of 03a3's are remington manufactured.. I could be wrong, but mine is a remington. Still, if its in original form with strong rifling, I would buy it at that price.

                Exactly this.^^^

If the barreled action isn't FUBAR'd up, you will be able to get a nice 03A3 for a good price.

You are correct. Remington made 707,629 M1903A3s, Smith Corona made 234,580.
