    Military training rifles

Three small bore training rifles from different eras:

Australian #2mkIV .22lr version of the .303#1mkIII. These were also made in the UK and India. Converted from a .303 rifle.

Martini Cadet made by BSA pre 1900 in .310-120. I shoot .32SW long rounds in it with good success. This one was issued to the Cadet Military Force of New South Wales Australia

French MAS 45 .22lr, a continuation of the WW2 German KKW training rifle. The French carted off the tooling for the KKW after WW2 and produced it for their own use.

    smle-man,
Very nice. That MAS is quite good looking. How does it shoot? I would like to get one of that rifle some day.

That SMLE is really nice. It must be strange shooting a .22 out of a heavy rifle like that.
I also have a MAS 45, and it is a very good shooter.
