    Name this pistol

Time for another puzzler. Haven't been able to stump the collective intelligence of Calguns yet. Maybe this one will do it.

    A couple of hints -

the earliest of this model would be C&R by age, this one probably isn't

    this is a factory configuration

Note for the legal minded: pistol is not in California

      I don't think that is a woodsman...

Perhapse a walther in .22lr with an extended target barrel?

      Tph? Or something like that?

        Walther PP Sport

        Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

            It is .22 LR

            Not a Walther.

If it is not a walther then it must be a bernadelli

                  It's a Bernardelli. Not a P90.

Bernadelli is the gun that taught me the quaint European habit of the slide autamatically closing when a magazine - even an empty magazine - is inserted ...... ouch!

It is stamped Model 60. I think they call it the Model 60 Sport. The AMR may be .380 only.

The barrel is threaded so the front sight can be removed for takedown. The barrel has to fit through the slide for disassembly. Of course, this makes the weapon far too dangerous for possession in California.

                        Here's the full view.

I can't decide if the long barrel makes it interesting or just bizarre.

both i'd say. looks like a PPK with a funny barrel on it. neat.
