Kari was one of the good guys - I knew him through shooting and bikes, and it was a joy to have known him -

    R.I.P. my friend.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Kari was a great guy. I never met him in person but we spoke on the phone a few times and he had just sent me a set of apertures that stick on to your shooting glasses. If you look closely at the first photo, you can see a black spot on the lens of his glasses. They work really well and I had hoped to meet at the range one day soon. My condolences to his family.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

          NO!!!!

          That totally sucks!

I broke a clutch cable when I rode up to the 2006 Moto GP. Kari Prager had a clutch cable for my Daytona brought down to Laguna from his shop, which was over an hour's drive away. I will never forget the kindness of that gesture...

          You will be missed, Kari...

I had no idea he was a shooter until I saw this post. I knew him from the motorcycle world and even in the two days of my life that I got to speak with him, do business with him and hang out with him, I could tell he was one of the "good guys". When I was in trouble, he loaned me tools, asked me if I needed help, told me that he'd lend me one of his mechanics if I needed... I can't say enough good things about Kari...

I always swore that I'd buy a bike from him someday but I didn't get around to it. My thoughts are with his friends and family tonight. We will miss you Kari...

If there's a race track up above, you can bet Kari's about to show the rest of field how to ride!!!
