Received C&R in the mail.

I received my C&R license in the mail Friday. I haven't received the DVD packet I heard others are talking about? I've made copies already and I know not to sign the original. Any recommendations for a bound book? Anything else I should do? I'm thinking of faxing it to aimsurplus to order one of their k31s

Congratulations. The paperwork with the CD will probably be weeks away, especially with the holiday mail/shipping. I see that J&G has some K31's on sale, I don't know if you have looked there yet.

I found a word document "request for addition to mailing list" for most of the dealers in the country online a while back. Just plug your information in, print and start spitting on stamps.

I will update if I can find it again. It's out there so start looking.

I noticed that I've saved over a thousand bucks this year from Midway and Brownells.

C of E?

California Certificate of Eligibility.
It allows you to purchase C&Rs from dealers with no 10 day wait.
It will also exempt you from AB962, if you can find online ammo vendors who will comply with the exemption.

For the bound book, here's what I use:

I print this on legal (8.7x17") heavy paper (I think I used 30lb bond), and keep it in a legal size 3-ring binder that I had to special order from Staples.

That template is good for 20 pages, 3 entries per page.

If someone steals your C&R gun logged into your book it is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Many dealers want a hard paper copy snail mailed to them. Email the dealers you want to do business with and ask each one how they would like your c&r. JG will not send handgun ammo to c&r holders unless they also have a COE. I'm certain all the dealers will be the same way, I think that will be the law. Your in for some discounts and perks your not used to right now, congratulations.

you mean after february right? Because I just ordered a ton of rounds from them not two or three months ago.
