This site is great for finding out trivia about unusual firearms. I posted a couple pics of an old FN-49 my dad had, and eventually ended up linking him up with someone who wrote a book on them. Getting the history on something that's been in the family for a while is very exciting.

I'm definitely scared of dipping my toes in the hard-core collecting pool though, since it seems like a very detail-oriented hobby I'm frankly too lazy to get into.
