    SA 1903 question

I just bought my first. Prior to taking it to the range, I decided to load and eject a mag full of ammo just to ensure that it cycled properly. All is well with the first 3 rounds in terms of cycling, but when the fourth round ejects, the fifth goes with it as well. I've had the bolt out, cleaned everything up and lubed it, so not sure why it would do this.

    Thoughts?
I'll bet you have more than 2k worth of guns and I'll bet you have no insurance coverage for them. PM me for help in protecting your investment for only a couple of bucks per year.

Weak magazine spring. Or you are not being "snappy" with your bolt operation. When ejecting a round don't do it slowly. Retract the bolt with a snappy movement.

Probably a combination of both issues.
    Poke'm with a stick!

Could be a few things. Like SVT says, a weak follower spring. Worn/damaged/incorrect follower or spring. Feed lips on the receiver damaged/bubba'd. USGI receiver, or aftermarket? Can you post a few detailed pictures?
