    C&R Irons vs Irons Competition

Penny's Dad and I are discussing the possibility of a side competion during the Tactical Turkey Shoot. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=348866

It is my belief that he is trying to goad me into doing something to invoke the BAN HAMMER, and therefore disquallify me from the Calguns competion because he does not wish to face me and have to pay up on his wager.

Please come and participate in the discussion, and consider coming to the TTS

"C&R, NO optics, NO mojo [read apperature] sights, surplus ammo only"

Do you have a AR that is 50 years old? Does it have the standard apperature sights? By the rules you agreed to, you can't use an AR Jacob! And I'm using a FINN Mosin. HUGE difference compared to a soviet Mosin

History would say otherwise when a finnish Mosin is involved.

What's wrong with m39 with irons vs ar15 with irons? It's all about skill!

                  Finn Mosin vs. K31.
Given the same shooter, any thoughts?
I believe the better quality of the K31's trigger and surplus GP11 ammo will give it a significant edge here.

You have a point. VERY close for accuracy. THAT would be a good contest! Although I have a "b" barrel that has kept up with every K31 its seen (Every type has better shooters)

I know Pete. just messin with ya. I was hitting golfballs at the back berm after we got that rifle zeroed (I shouldn't have taken it apart the night before). And there was nothing left of my bullseye when I packed up that afternoon. You want in on this with me and Jacob?

I'd participate but I am too far away. Any kind of target I can shoot at instead?
