    M.A.S. Modele 1935S 7.65L

French handgun. A friend asked me to check it out, I found plenty of information but no ammo, anyone know if it is sold anywhere?

Buffalo Arms has a pretty extensive catalog of obscure and obsolete ammunition: http://www.buffaloarms.com/browse.cfm/4,4228.html

Looks like reloading gear is common enough.

Old West Scrounger made custom ammo for it at one time. Try googling it. This model pistol evolved into the M 1950 in 9mm. Nice pistol but no ammo

Don't buy any surplus French ammo with the expectation it will fire. Most of the primers are dead.

Buffalo Arms makes cases and offers reloading supplies for it. OWS has occasional lots of new ammo made for it. Nice toy.

Gad Custom Cartridges has them $30 for 50

Great gun, I could have had a SAGEM of that model for $165 a few years ago, but at the time I couldn't find ammo. I "settled" for a 1948 S&W Pre-10 instead.

The guy that owns it wanted me to look at it, research it decide if I was interested, I can see after the research, I'm not interested. All my guns, while most of them are C&R are shooters. I don't re load, this one would be a safe queen, I don't throw a buck a round down range. I'm wondering if all the ammo went after they switched guns out. There couldn't have been a lot of C&R milititary
guns and ammo around that time.

It was imported by the crate full in the 60s but since the French switched in the 50s and made no more after that the supply dried up. It is essentially the .30 Pedersen for the WW1 Pedersen device.

How much does he want for it? I have always prefered the 1935s to the 1935a.
