picked up an RIC webley No1, video inside

    WTB Irish firearms:
old SxS shotguns, Enfields (Irish contract or FF marked), RIC marked carbines or revolvers, odd ball flintlocks.

VZ58 PARTS F/S - I've got everything except magazine parts

Nice find. I have always liked the looks of Webleys. Looks great considering how old it is.

Yeah this one was sold in 1888, seems like it was shot very little, the bore is pristine and it locks up like new

Is that the one that was discussed on Gunboards? Nice!

Yes it is, I got it of a guy out by victorville, swapped it for a FAL and some cash.
There seemed to be a bit of drama about who got in first, ended up all the complainers fell through and I picked it up with a back up offer

            Congrats on the RIC Webley.

Nice score, those are tough to find in that condition.

Should it have gone to anyone other than an Irishman?

Wow! That has to be the best-condition RIC revolver I've ever seen. And with that case & accessories too, just beautiful!

I love the late 19th / Early 20th Century British & Commonwealth firearms, just some really solid and well-made guns.

You may already know about the BritishMilitaria forum, but if not, you'd probably enjoy checking them out. I've been a member there for a while, lots of very cool & informative people on there as well:
