    Got the Scope so,

Might as well order the rifle for it. My Girlfriend's family gave me a Russian PEM scope that he brought back from WW2 when he was in Germany. Ordered a bent bolt 91/30 from RGuns and the PE scope mount from E-Bay, now just waiting for everything to arrive so I can put it together. Pics when I get the project completed. The bad thing about a FF-03 license, you just go out and buy the gun and have it shipped to the house. This is getting expensive.

Big scope Mosins are a blast to shoot. I love shooting my PE top mount and PEM side mount.

It was a very special gift, I am trying to decide to give the family the gun once I finish the project. For now, they want to take it out and shoot it. The sad part is, the uncle now has dementia so I can't really ask him how he came to find it. He is a great guy, served with Patton in Africa and Italy, then in Germany. They really don't make guys like this any more. I really like him and am so sad to see him go this way. Same with one of my friends father, served and was at the battle of the bulge, loved to talk about the war with him. It's sad we are losing these men so fast now.

It is good that it went to a good home where it will be appreciated.
