"registered" weapon?

I have a couple of questions. Yes, I searched, but nothing came up to answer my Q. When you transfer a weapon and do the DROS form or buy one from B5, is it a regestered weapon? If so, say I was transporting it to a range...say Lytle. CHP, USFS, etc. pulls me over and searches the vehicle. What paperwork do I need? If I had a weapon that wasn't on the C&R list...like an M1903..just a plain 1903, made in 1918, what would be the consequence?

1- Long guns are not registered in CA.
2- You are not required to carry any paperwork.
3- M1903s are on the C&R list. They fall under "All Original military bolt action and semiautomatic rifles mfd. between 1899 and 1946".
4- If is being legally transported and it's legal for you to own it, no problem.

OK, maybe one more. How 'bout an M1919? Not C&R, a crew served weapon, no mags, but has 100 rd belts with the first...last 20, depending on how you look at it, linked prior to 2000?

Is a Ruger PC9 considered a long gun?
