how far field stripped do you have to go to clean off all the cosmo? Did you have to disassemble the trigger group or bolt?

Mine just showed up today and it was in a hard lockable plastic case.... is this something brand new? I wasn't expecting a fresh case

Did they change the boxes in the past couple of years (I haven't ordered a rifle from the CMP in ages)? The CMP shipping box should have flipped opened length-wise without any cutting of the box (which makes for great reuse):

i just sent the paper work for mine in from iraq, i was told to write deployed on it to get a real nice one and to have my order expedited home it took my neighbor 3 weeks total to get his. 2 weeks to get to AL and a week to process and ship to VA. i cant wait i orderd a service grade SA

I kinda want one, but I can't afford one for the time being. These are really nice though, I'm a fan. The only thing wrong with them is that they don't accept detachable, box magazines. The sights on it are the s___!
