That may be cheap but you have to think about how much more you have to invest into it, get all the other parts, stock, bolt, trigger group, do they come with sights?

      Just something to think about.

I don't know if they come with sights or for the matter barrel bands. I have extra parts from previous rifles. Enough to make another rifle except a stock, sights and barrel band. I can easily find the stock and barrel band but the sights might be a bit of a challenge. I plan to place an order in the next day or so because they only have a few hundred and all the people who missed out on the full rifles are trying to make up for it now.

BTW, the CMP also is selling USGI M14 parts kits sans the bolt and barrel for $600.

            Recycled Drivel:

The state Deptment & ATFE have blocked the sale because their bosses are lawless gungrabbers.

Nothing personal , but that " ownership " BS is a slightly modified version of an endlessly recycled lie that is over 20 years old. The lie first hit the national media in December , 1987 , based on a speech by Senator Metzenbaum ( D ) Ohio.
At that time BATF had 40,000 Garands & M1 Carbines locked up in Customs .
By the middle of January 1988 the way was clear for 200,000 USGI Blue Sky guns to come home from our allies in South Korea . Congress passed a measure & Ronald Reagan signed it.

Run a search on Calguns , I'm tired of typing and posting links.

            Conflict Resolution 201:
Pickaxe Handles Rule , The Battleship Missouri is usually a serious attention getter with more clout than just it's weapons/armor/mobility could generate. South Korean volunteers with Claymores strapped to thier chests and clackers in hand are a clear indication of Allied resolve. Puts the ! on the end of :

If any of you are looking for an M1 Carbine, OC Armory has one on co-sign for $700. Its an Inland and looks to be correct ww2. Has the push safety, original flip up sights, no bayonet lug, round bolt, thats all I noticed with a quick glance.
