Who is the seller of better than average military bolt guns, etc??

There was a thread here some time ago that referenced an honest store (online) that had stuff a little higher priced, but was known to be honest and you got what you paid for.

Anyone remember this?

Empire Arms probably. I don't remember the thread, but IMHO, Empire does tend to be higher priced, but they are honest and you do get what you pay for.

I've had good luck with classic arms too. I didn't have the communication problems others had. In fact I sold the K-31 I bought from them because I was too scared I'd mess it up.

With Empire Arms, you need to sign up for his email updates so you can have a chance to buy the good stuff. The guns listed for sale on his regular web site are the ones that nobody bought from the email update list. All of the good stuff sells out in a couple of hours.

Lots of eye candy. Where does one start?? (sort of rhetorical) Swiss? Finnish? Look for another Swede?

I served my apprenticeship at a place called Star Machine Works here in San Diego. That might mean something to a few reloaders. Anyway, we still had a couple of lineshafts in that shop. I started off using a file and a broom. Even though I have a few CNC machines, I learned old-school stuff. I really enjoy the old school hardware. Some of that stuff was so well made, especially considering the stuff they had to work with.

Got 4 dragoons and they are basically new with everything matching. Plus a parts kit included in shipment. Thought it was a good deal and very satisfied. Shipped quickly with no problems. If you buy by phone there is no communication until you get the guns. Didn't much like that.

If I were were you, I would pick up the phone and call them personally. Tell them exactly what you are looking for and they will find it for you. Dennis Kroh is the man...looks good in spandex, too.
