COE renewal?

I sent my check to the DOJ 3 weeks ago for my 2nd COE renewal and haven't received my new paperwork. I seem to remember last year that they turned that around in about a week. It only took 2 weeks to get the thing when I first applied.

It doesn't even look like they've cashed the check yet. My current one is good until the middle of next month, so maybe they are waiting till closer to that date or something.

Anyone know what the average turn around time is on these renewals? At what point should I call them if, by which, it hasn't arrived?

in my experience they take 1 to 2 weeks to process, including delivery time.

I just send my renewal in on July 17, expiration was August 5 (I waited til the last minute to send it in).

New COE was issued on August 3, postmarked August 4, and I received it on August 9. They didn't deposit the check until August 9 (per the endorsement), and it hit my bank on the 10th.

Does DOJ send a renewal notice or do you have to just mark your calendar to pay the renewal notice?

Mine took about 3 - 4 weeks this year. Last year had it back within a week.5

You get a renewal notice about 2 months or so before it expires.

Got my renewal notice mid July, doesn't expire until mid September. Sent it in right away and got the new one back about 10 days later.
