    K98 bayonets?

Has anyone ordered the K98 bayonets from samco? If so, are they actually original, do they have matching numbers or codes, what was the overall condition and would you make the purchase again?

    Thanks guys.

I got one from Samco a couple of years ago (same price--their inventory moves slowly). It looked like a communist rework (like the RC K98s) with the bayo (cof 43) & scabbard renumbered to match each other. The bakelite grips were a bit buggered from where the screws were removed, and it looked like the blade was reblued. Cheaper than most originals, though.

So they are original, but re-worked?

Hmmmmm, what to do, what to do....

I think if you already have Russian Capture K98k's they are a logical match. But for non-RC K98k's you should get a non-RC bayonet.

        Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

I guess that does make sense, I do have a RC K98. Nice bayo BTW.

Well I have an original matching K98 Bayonet and an RC K98, so those bayonets would go along with the RC K98 better?
